Governor signs budget withzero to save our developmental services –many more emails needed now!As expected, Governor Brown signed the state budget a few minutes ago with not one dime to stop the crumbling of our community services system. But there’s still hope in the special legislative session that started
.We need a flood of emails to the Legislature to keep their attention focused on our community’s needs. We generated more than 4,000 in the last four days, a great start, but we need a lot more to every one of the 120 legislators -- so not one of them gets the idea that we’ve given up and he or she can give up too.If you were deterred from emailing because of a technical glitch or my overly complicated directions, don’t worry, we’ve fixed those. (Or so I sincerely hope. Please let me know if you find any problems.)Thank you again for your advocacy.GregGreg deGierePublic Policy DirectorThe Arc & United Cerebral Palsy California Collaboration1225 Eighth Street, Suite 350, Sacramento, CA 95814
