Ventura County Health Information

f you have MediCal, through Gold Coast Health Plan in Ventura County or through CenCal in Santa Barbarba or Ventura County, you can review the lists of  contracted providers to learn more about which providers are available, and you can also contact the providers to confirm that they do accept your MediCal plan, and ask questions. However, you must follow the MediCal referral process, by requesting a referral from your primary physician to any specialty health services, including behavioral health treatment and ABA intervention for autism.

If you live in Ventura County & Need a Medical Doctor or Medical Specialist (including neurology):

1. Gold Coast Health Plan is the MediCal Managed Care Provider
2. Go to https://www.goldcoasthealthplan.org/
3. At the top of the page click on “Members”
4. Click on “Choose a Physician”
5. Enter your selections for specialty, city, language preference
6. You can sort your results by provider name of specialty.
7. You can print your customized directory by city or medical specialty.
