The California Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (CCEPD) is seeking a person with a disability to serve as a representative on the Committee. The CCEPD is a Committee made up of state and business representatives and people with disabilities.

The CCEPD makes policy recommendations to the California Health and Human Services Agency and the Labor and Workforce Development Agency regarding employment, programs and services, and cross-system coordination needs for people with disabilities. The CCEPD also influences policy and program development affecting people with disabilities.

Due to the pandemic, all quarterly meetings are conducted online. CCEPD Members participate in quarterly meetings, on a Subcommittee, and provide perspective and feedback to policy-makers. Travel is reimbursed for in-person meetings.

If interested in becoming a CCEPD member, please submit the following to the Executive Officer of the CCEPD:

  • Membership application (found on the CCEPD homepage)
  • Copy of resume
  • Two letters of recommendation

Candidates will be interviewed by the Executive Officer and CCEPD Members. The selection process is competitive. Appointments will be made at the discretion of the Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency.
