As an alternative to traditional employment, many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities find fulfillment and economic success from starting their own small businesses, or micro-enterprises.
TCRC offers interest free loans of up to $1000 for individuals who need start-up funds for small businesses. Loan applications are completed by TCRC Service Coordinators after the planning team agrees that a micro-enterprise loan is appropriate.
In addition to this service, several of our Individual Supported Employment (ISE) and Community Integration Training Programs offer planning and/or support for small business development.
