There is no cost for evaluation, assessment and service coordination. Public or private health insurance is accessed for medically necessary therapy services including speech, physical and occupational therapies. Services that are not covered by insurance will be purchased or provided by regional centers or local education agencies. Depending on your income and family size, you may be charged an Annual Family Program Fee (AFPF) of $150-$200. This fee does not apply to children with Medi-Cal.
